The Bliss Wedding Showcase was filled with some amazing vendors such as photographers, makeup artists, dress designers, jewelry designers, floral designers, food caterers, and cocktail specialists. Meeting all if these business owners and vendors was so spectacular that we decided to highlight some of our favorites from the showcase! Each of these vendors were so sweet and passionate about their work that it just inspired us more.

The first vendor that we were able to meet was Suzanne, the owner and designer of Atelier des Modistes. Atelier des Modistes can be found in San Francisco’s Russian Hill right off of Hyde Street, is known for their handcrafted garments made from the finest Italian silks and French lace.

Oh how we fell in love with these gowns! Not only were they beautiful, but you could see the quality and love in each stitch. The gowns that we saw were delicate and very detailed, from the veils to the head pieces and belts. One of our favorite details were the pockets in the gowns Check out Atelier des Modistes at https://atelierdesmodistes.com/

The next vendor that we loved was ComePlum Photography! As a company that also supplies photography, we can appreciate when we see someone else work that is right up our alley! The owner, Praise, was the sweetest and has an inspiring style that shows in all of her shots. Not only does she have amazing work, but also the cutest puppy who brought everyone to her section! Our next vendor was Thesis of Alexandria, better known as TOA. The designer Sam was delightful to talk to and you could tell that he had passion for his work! Sam provided the most simple and delicate jewelry which we fell in love with (and bought)! Items ranged from necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets. All of their jewelry was either gold filled or sterling silver and will scream “BUY ME” to your inner minimalist. They are both designed and crafted in San Francisco, find them at https://www.thesisofalexandria.com/

Lo-Fi Aperitifs was the next vendor that we had the pleasure meeting! They are a line of vermouths and amaro crafted with California wines and natural herbs and botanicals. Oh boy where these drinks yummy! We loved the mixologists that we had the pleasure of meeting and their style was our favorite. We sipped on their signature cocktails and fell in love! Visit them at http://www.lofiaperitifs.com/

Our next vendor that we were able to meet was La Mienne Beauty Bar which can be a God send for some future brides! La Mienne is a way where you can skip the salon and have beauty pros come to you where ever that might be. Make up, hair, nails and more done in the comfort of my own house?!?! YES PLEASE! They send these artists to your house or where ever on your big day, sounds perfect to us. Check them out at https://www.lamienne.com/

Elana Jovero Jewelry was also a vendor who creates beautiful jewelry. Her items range from earrings, necklaces, and rings. The founder, Elana, is a jeweler, metalsmith, carver and artist who shows her beautiful work with pride. She mentioned how her jewelry can be provided as the perfect thank you gift for any bridal party. Her work is unique and all of her pieces uses sustainably resourced materials, conflict free stones, and recycled metal. Take a glimpse her work at https://www.elanajoverojewelry.com/

The Engagement of the Season

Celebrating Sophia & Aremon's Engagement

I cannot begin to tell you how much fun and how lucky I felt to be a part of Sophia & Aremon's engagement party! When I first met Sophia, I just knew she was going to be one of my favorite clients to work with. Her vision was so romantic and whimsical yet classic.

For centerpieces Sophia wanted lanterns adorned with flowers, which I LOVED and had never done before! Then we lined the tables with gold votives to add even more candlelight.

The patio of the restaurant has an upper area which we built a 25' garland. It made such a difference and really felt like you were sitting under a garden!

For the head table, we wanted something different and a bit more impactful. King protea's and garden roses were used to create this arrangement.

We also decided to do name cards and table numbers. And what a big difference that made. Completely felt put together, organized and who doesn't feel special with a personalized name card? Small details like that is what we love and feel is so important at any event.

Roughly 70 family and friends were in attendance that night and had the entire patio to themselves, which turned out perfect. The party took place at Blackhawk Grille in Danville, CA.

Here are some of my favorite photos of the beautiful couple, their family and friends!

Such a fun night! So much hard work went into putting this event together and I am so, so happy I was a part of Sophia & Aremon's celebration!
